The Rules of Engagement (ROE) are the guidelines we follow on any Counter Strike Source (CSS) or America's Army (AA) mission or task. Whether you are on a Leased or Official Game Server, the Forums, or chatting on IRC or Team Speak, you are expected to adhere to the ROE for that engagement. These guidelines are established to ensure the member and visitor of the Counter Strike and America's Army Community demonstrates appropriate behavior, is shown courtesy, and is treated fairly. Do not proceed if you do not agree with the ROE.
The Counter Strike and America’s Army Community’s consists of a diverse group of players from around the world. All of us benefit from this interaction with one another. All of us should remember the "Golden Rule" by treating one another with respect and consideration. Anyone observing or subject to negative interactions with other members should be forwarded to the appropriate admin or clan leader. All members of the RPG clan must conform to the Rules Of Engagement (ROE) set out below.
Membership Criteria:
You must be at least 15 years of age or over, or if under the age of 15 years to come with a recommendation from another RPG member.
You agree to the RPG clan Rules of Engagement.
You must have some form of broadband connection.
You must download and install TeamSpeak.
You will try to be on Team Speak when playing CSS RPG Clan matches.
You will comply to all voice comms conduct.
You will serve a probationary period not exceeding 30 days.
Conduct:
All members of the RPG clan will not engage, whether in game or on our website, in any form of flaming or discuss politics, race or religion.
No RPG clan member will publically insult or attack any other clan or clan member or accuse them of cheating.
No RPG clan member will under any circumstances try to gain an unfair advantage by implementing any modified files, hacks, cheats or exploits.
The RPG clan views cheating in a very bad light and requires all its members to report any infringements directly to a clan committee member.
No foul language in its full form or abbreviated will be tolerated in-game.
No RPG clan member will try to influence another players game play, weapon choice or any other personal choice that player may decide to make.
All RPG clan members will respect the game style, in-game decisions and choices that other players make and will refrain from making any kind of criticism or pass judgement in any way or form.
No RPG clan member will give away any opposition positions by "Ghosting" other players.
All servers have specified ROE and all RPG clan members will adhere to this ROE under all circumstances.
If you have any grievance with a player or admin on a server, do not engage them directly but rather report the actions of the offenders to a clan committee member who will then take this up with the appropriate people.
No RPG clan member will challenge any admin on any server at any time for any reason. Any complaints should be reported to a clan committee member.
Your RPG tags will identify you as a clan member and therefore you represent the entire clan. Any misconduct on your part may result in your expulsion from the clan.
No RPG clan member may at any time whilst being a clan member represent any other clan on any level, competitive or otherwise without obtaining prior permission.
Any grievance with another RPG clan member will be reported and dealt with by the committee. Any and all threats against the gaming networks or servers, including attempts to hack, crash, or flood a server, actual or implied, are instant grounds for removal and can result in a ban from the clan. Harassing other players is not permitted within any CSS or America's Army communication channel. A little healthy competitive trash-talking is tolerable; however excessive comments directed at specific players will not be tolerated. Impersonation of Admins or other fraudulent use of tag of identification is immediate grounds for removal. This includes close spellings intended to deceive other users. A "nick" is a textual icon in which is used to identify oneself. In the CSS and America's Army community, your name must adhere to Entertainment Standards Rating Board teen ratings. This means all virtual names chosen by our clan members are expected to adhere the following:
• No Insultive, derogatory or slanderous names.
• No Name involving race, gender, sexual preference, religion or creed.
• No Names that contain excessively explicit or vulgar language.
Voice Comms Conduct: Teamspeak
General chit chat is permitted in the RPG channel during normal game play. No ghosting is allowed and serious action will be taken against members whom do not comply.
The RPG clan have a “private” channel available for tactical or serious gaming (clan matches) when general chit chat will not be allowed.
Voice comms in tournament mode will consist of team leaders issuing commands with team members keeping comms to a minimum.
Any player who is dead in tournament mode is not permitted to speak at all until the round is up.
If the above voice comms conduct is not adhered to, the offending player will be removed from the channel.
Acceptable game play:
The defence team may camp, as there is an objective to defend.
Unethical game play:
The assault team may not camp. There are certain objectives that need to be completed. However, the full amount of time set for the round may be used by the assault team. CSS and America's Army is a team game, players are expected to work together. Failure to follow the orders of the leaders in your squad is a NO GO; lone wolf Rambo's are not wanted. Soldiers are to expected comply with legal orders in the Army. If you disagree with the orders issued by the leaders in your team, be a team player, advance in rank and assume the role of a leader.
Termination of membership:
If a RPG clan member divulges any privileged clan information.
If a RPG clan member brings the clans name into disrepute.
If a RPG clan member is absent or offline for longer than 30 days without providing a reason by posting on the RPG official website.
If a RPG clan member does not adhere to the voice comms conduct, their membership will be reviewed.
If a RPG clan member is deemed to have breached the RPG clan ROE.
